Why I love Moldova ?
My country has a soul which is full of people’s kindness and God’s love, that’s why I love Moldova!
We are all different (and it’s very good) but we’ve got a lot in common. Like flowers we need sunshine (love of our family and friends), ground (our background), water (our hobbies and jobs).
Friday it was time to get to know the place where the seminar takes place – Krzyżowa – and have a look at some of the stories told there. After a quick overview of the Krzyżowa Foundation’s history and departments, the group split to learn more – either about the Kreisau circle in the House on the Hill or about Polish-German reconciliation – in the permanent exhibition „Courage and Reconciliation”. This post follows the group entering the exhibition.
As closure of the second day in Krzyżowa, all the participants were invited to present a small part of their countries, of their stories or their dreams. It was a wonderful evening, that moved all our senses: we watched short movies, we tasted food and drinks, we listened to music and everything smelled of joy.
The arrival evening…
My story begins on the 11th of March 2015, when I got in the car and set out on the journey of a new adventure.
In two weeks time, “Once upon today… in Europe” starts in Krzyzowa – looking foward to meeting you all!
