Arab Nerrative
1948, the year Israel was established is a significant date for every Palestinian in any place in the world. During that year most of them lost their houses, and their home-land became a memory. Some of the Palestinians living inside the Israeli state (who are called the Israeli Arabs) live currently in Arabic towns nearby the places that used to be their village. On the ruins of these places many Israeli towns were built, but some places are not inhabited today.
The short film presents the narrative of one Palestinian who currently lives in Nazareth after his village “Mujiedel” was destroyed at 1948. We joined this old man on his trip to his place-of-birth, accompanied by young people that were interested to listen to his story.
Below are some photos for the ruins of Palestinian villages in the Galilee.
